Cat in the JAM chilli jams are all about showcasing the glorious natural fresh fruit flavour and nothing else.
Less is more when it comes to extra sugar, Jenna used her nutrition and food science background to develop the recipes at maximum fruit capacity without any flavour compromises.
Oozy runny
Capsicum (pepper family) is naturally low in pectin, in development Jenna experimented with low pectin, and it worked! A more saucy experience, showcasing flavours as nature intended.
About me
Always preferring to make and upcycle gifts, one Christmas the family and friends all got homemade chilli jam in recycled jars. It was a big hit with everything, even beyond the cheese board, and weeks later there were pleas for refills.
In 2020 with the pandemic causing an event based career halt Jenna got her jam pans out again... This time she developed so many recipes that she lost count. Se sent samples to friends for wine, cheese & Cat in the JAM Zoom calls for live feedback on the recipe tastings. Rinse and repeat several times and easy gosling, smokey bear, cat got your tongue and sneaky serpent recipes were perfected.
